This is one of 31 wool blankets made in limited production this year at the Frost Atelier in Eliot, Maine. Woven into a simple and classic modern design, it features the Frost edge, Master Weaver Amala’s signature finish based on ancient Peruvian weaving techniques. The red band, called a Blessing Thread and found in all Frost blankets, symbolizes the gift of care, love, and compassion.

Frost sources the finest quality wools from small-scale domestic ranches and mills where the animals are well cared for. This includes a Maine heritage mill, solar powered mills in Maine and Montana, and organically operated ranches in Oregon and New Mexico. All of our wool is processed without the use of chlorine.
